The glass and wood shop in the boulevard Malesherbes is a showcase for all Betjeman & Barton teas.
The shop is a gourmand haven, just a stone's throw away from the Paris boulevards with their big stores. The original wooden counters worn by the caddies being taken down from the shelves with 250 teas, many of which were created exclusively by Betjeman & Barton.
The shop was awarded the prize for the best food shop window in Paris in 1998, mainly because it is designed like a stage. Redolent with the inspiration of Katherine, each window is conceived as an ode to tea, with gourmand notes, fine china and striking colours.
Tea lovers - some famous, some not so famous – some faithful to a particular tea, some adventurous - then enter the shop to be guided by Myriam and her team.
More than ever, it is important that each person finds the tea best suited to his own tastes. This is why, every day, there is a different tea to be tasted by customers.
In addition to the full list of plain or scented teas, the shop has a wide range of tea services, silver and eccentric teapots, cakes and sweetmeats, caddies and boxes.
The shop is open Mondays to Saturdays from 10.00 to 19.00.
