This tea is made from carefully cultivated tea leaves of a rare and prestigious cultivar of Okumidori. A cultivar well known to great connoisseurs. Okumidori comes from a blend between the Yabukita cultivar and the indigenous Shizuoka Zairai tea.

This kabusecha is made exclusively from first harvest tea. It is a shaded tea but the shade is much shorter which gives it this length in the mouth and the depth of the aromas. You will find it very round and without astringency. Ideal for Gyokuro lovers...
